surrey WOmen's player exemptions
The Slam is designed to help increase the amount of cricket that clubs can offer its members in an inclusive way and as such there are rulings to prevent players of a particularly high standard from inappropriately participating. However, this has to be balanced against the potential to exclude players who have been caught by a rule that isn't designed to prevent players of their standing from competing and/or unfairly impact upon their team.
As such, teams are permitted to request exemptions from all or part of rules SY-WPE.3 each year via the online form ONLY.
Throughout each year of The Slam those granted exemption shall be listed on this page along with the ruling (and part of) that they are currently exempt from. Note that a team may have an exemption granted that does not appear on the list here at the time of their next match. It is that team's responsibility to make available to their opponent written evidence from the Competition Manager for any such exemption along with details of ALL current player exemptions valid for that match, PRIOR to the toss being conducted.

The file showing ALL player exemption requests that have had a ruling made upon them is available here. If a request does not appear here, it is because it has not been assessed yet.
NOTE: The eligibility of all players will be subject to review after the first two rounds of matches, but those highlighted in yellow are particularly close to having their judgement altered.

If the player or team you require is not listed on this file then it should be assumed that they have no exemptions against SY-WPE.3 unless evidence is shown to the opponent by them in advance of the toss when their next match is played.
