Every club or team hopes to find new members, but achieving that with limited resources in a finite geographical area is challenging.
The Slam works with each of the partnering County Cricket Foundations to advertise the competition, and its many benefits, via a targeted social media marketing campaign on behalf of ALL its member teams.
Through this campaign The Slam gets the message out to those that have an interest in cricket in your area showing them the benefits to individual players that you can find HERE.
From that its just a few simple clicks for players to submit the details of what they are looking for and where, then we put them in touch directly with the teams that match up.
Since The Slam evolved from the parochial Southwest Surrey Midweek Cup at the end of 2017, here's what we've managed to achieve initial across Surrey and in the last two years also throughout Sussex:
