The Surrey Slam Midweek (Men's) runs two tiers of competition:
THE CUPWhilst the highest level players of the recreational game in the county are ineligible, this is the higher tier of the two and is designed to offer T20 action for those that still want to play at a decent standard and with a competitive edge to their cricket.
In 2021 there were 60 teams taking part from right across the county at this level. |
THE PLATEThis is the lower level of the two competitions, designed to offer a more relaxed route back into the game, perfect for those that have been away for a while and just want to get back involved in the game that they love.

A player's eligibility to participate in either of the two tiers is based upon their weekend ability. Of course if you aren't playing any weekend league cricket then you're free to play in either.
