We are thrilled, with the help of John Lewis & Partners, to be able to support your child on the Sussex Pathway for the next 2 years.

Whilst you hopefully did read the details of what is, and isn't included in this package, as well as what is expected of your child, please find it again below for absolute clarity.

Any player must:

• be attending a state-funded school;
• be born between 1st September 2009 and 31st August 2017;
• have been offered a place on the Sussex County Pathway (inc. Development Squads) for the 2025/26 year;
• be playing for a club that has participated in a Slam competition in 2025;
• be prepared to undertake limited promotional activity, which includes, but not limited to, photographs posted on The Slam's social media outlets. Note that photos are likely to need to be taken at the John Lewis Horsham branch.

What is included:

• The cost for that player to be on the Sussex County Pathway for 2 full years;
• The cost of any match/training kit mandated by the Sussex County Pathway, and any replacements due to player growth;
• The provision of any required player-specific equipment, to an appropriate standard. Including bat, helmet, leg guards, gloves and thigh guard.

What is not included:

• The cost of travel to, or subsistence at any trials, matches or training sessions;
• The cost of replacing any equipment or clothing due to damage / mistreatment within the control of the player.

Whilst we sincerely hope that this scheme will continue beyond the initial 2-year period, please note that is the extent of the current commitment. You will have already been notified by Sussex Cricket of the expectations of your child whilst on the Pathway, including levels of attendance. If for whatever reason your child is removed from the Pathway then the support will cease with immediate effect.

Ok, let's now focus on the fun stuff - getting your child's kit sorted!!! Please complete the form below as accurately as you can so that we can ensure that the right fitting clothing and equipment is purchased at the first attempt. If anything doesn't fit as hoped then we will explore return & replace with the retailer, but any return postage costs may have to be at your expense.
